1st Congressional 2010 Primary Election Poll results

The following online poll was run by the PHC. It is not a scientific poll.

141 responded to the question, "Who will you vote for in the 1st Congressional District Democrat Primary?"

Results:
Michael Oliverio III (Monongalia County) 80%
Alan B. Mollohan (Marion County) 19%

429 responded to the question, "Who will you vote for in the 1st Congressional District GOP Primary?"

Results:
David B. McKinley (Ohio County) 45%
Sarah Minear (Monongalia County) 30%
Thomas Stark (Wood County)13%

  1. I find it FRIGHTENING that a Conservative - AND AN INSURANCE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE!!!
    - is running against our Democratic Congressman and PRETENDING TO BE A DEMOCRAT!

    Don't we have ENOUGH Blue Dogs and Republicans fighting bitterly and explotively against the American people, and FOR the Corporations, NOW?

  2. I think you are confused. It is a Democratic Congress and President that have been pushing all these corporate bailouts while the average worker has not been getting bailed out.

    The Republicans and some of the blue dogs have been the ones trying to push for payroll tax cuts which would put money immediately in to the hands of the American workers, thus stimulating the economy and truly helping the American people.

    Congressman Mollohan has not lobbied against Cap and Trade which is a direct attack on the average American. Might want to look at the facts before you make a statement next time.
