The dinner kicks off the creation of the Potomac Highlands Republican Club. This new organization will try and mobilize Republicans in Pendleton, Grant, Hardy, Hampshire, and Mineral counties. The club's goals are to strengthen the party and support candidates. Many voters care about certain issues but do not get involved for a variety of reasons. The club wants to involve everyone who has an interest whether they can help out for a few hours per week or a few hours per month. Vast potential exists in the growing Potomac Highlands to become a key part of Republican success in West Virginia.
